What Is Your Relationship IQ?

Do problems in a marriage change the marriage or accentuate the Relationship IQ of the spouses involved? In many instances, I choose the latter.

Wisdom is the DNA of success. It is the canvas upon which the portrait of success is painted, and, to be very frank, this is why far too many marriages present such a bleak picture of marriage. Simply put, we are an external society that is drowning in the results of being inwardly deficient.

Marriage will twist your mind around, defy the your logic, and blaspheme your childish emotions. But, at the end of the day, its peaks are certainly worth the climb.

Dr. Feelings

Many a marriage will do well to stop visiting Dr. Feelings and take a few courses in the college of wisdom. However, be warned. Wisdom does not come cheaply. It is an expensive asset that will cost you your selfishness, pride, time, resentment, and a few protected areas that are limiting your ability to advance.

First and foremost, kneel before the Father and ask Him to show you things that you never knew existed about God, life, and relationships. Stop beating those dead horses in your mind and taking those intellectually dead end paths that lead nowhere. Ask God to stretch you beyond your wildest imaginations and you may be surprised at the results. (Ephesians 3:20)

Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. – Proverbs 4:7
